President Al-Sharaa and his Lebanese counterpart to visit Kuwait soon

A diplomatic source has revealed that Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa and his Lebanese counterpart Joseph Aoun expressed their desire to visit Kuwait soon, during Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya’s recent visit to both Damascus and Beirut.

The source told Al-Qabas newspaper that Al-Sharaa and Aoun told Al-Yahya that they will visit Kuwait and these visits will be arranged during the coming period.

It clarified that Lebanese President had said that his visit to Kuwait would be made after the formation of the Lebanese government, while Al-Sharaa expressed his interest in visiting Kuwait soon.

The sources also indicated that a Gulf ministerial meeting will be held in Mecca in the holy month of Ramadan, headed by Kuwait, and that Syrian Foreign Minister As’ad Al-Shibani is invited to attend it.
