At Least Five Civilians Wounded by Mortar Attack on Jaramana City

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE,(ST)_At least five civilians have been wounded by mortar attack on Jaramana city outside Damascus, the official news agency (SANA) said on Sunday.

The agency clarified that a shell-fired by terrorists- landed in al-Qaryat quarter in the city where five civilians, including two children, were wounded.

The mortar attack caused damages to several cars at the site, a police command source said.

On May 1st, a mortar attack killed a child and wounded 22 civilians in the same city that led normal conditions since then as the army units had carried out intensified military operations against terrorist groupings and hideouts and destroyed factories for making mortar shells in al-Mliha town which is adjacent to Jaramana city.
