Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor discusses enhancing cooperation with UNRWA

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor in the caretaker government, Fadi Al-Qasem, discussed with the Director of UNRWA Affairs in Syria, Amaniya Michael Eby, the agency’s operations in Syria and its future projects.

The meeting also discussed the facilities and centers that the agency aims to activate, in addition to the challenges it faces, and how to facilitate its tasks and develop its projects to improve the services provided.

Emergency programs and the restoration of damaged UNRWA centers were also addressed.

The agency oversees 102 schools, in addition to 27 primary healthcare centers, 12 community centers, and contributes to the graduation of 300 vocational training students annually.
