Basketball :Preparations underway for Asia Championship

DAMASCUS,(ST)-The men’s national basketball team have lost to their Jordanian counterparts 48-65 in a friendly match in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The match is part of both team” preparation for  taking part in 23rd West Asia Championship due to be staged in Jordan on May n23.

 

Before leaving for Beirut, the national team held an indoor training camp in Damascus in which they played some friendlies against local clubs.

It is to be noted that  the following pros.basketballersZeid Abbas and Wright will join the national team soon.
