Reactivation of “Amal” organization discussed

DAMASCUS, FEB.1, (ST)- Today, caretaker Health Minister Dr. Maher Al-Sharaa, reviewed with the Syrian Organization for Persons with Disabilities (Amal) the ways of reactivate the organization and offering medical and rehabilitation services.

During a meeting, which was held at the Ministry’s headquarters, Dr. Al-Sharaa confirmed that the Ministry pays great attention to children’s health and offering the necessary health services to them, indicating that health institutions and facilities will be reactivated according to priorities.

The minister also underscored the need to organize and develop work, restructure the organization, and put an end to corruption and administrative laxity.

He added that the organization’s subordination is being reconsidered. ‏

For his part,, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Amal Organization, Dr. Asaad Al-Asaad, gave a detailed information about the organization’s work and the services it offers such as audiologic and Aural rehabilitation.

He in addition referred to the urgent need to refinance and activate the work.
