Health Ministry, German Agency for International Cooperation Discuss renovating health facilities in Syria

Director of the Planning and International Cooperation Directorate Zuhair Qarat met with a delegation from the German Agency for International Cooperation, led by Tatia Loman, the Agency’s project manager for Syria، to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the health sector.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of implementing and supporting health projects, as well as rebuilding and renovating health facilities in Syria, and enhancing the health services provided to citizens.

Both sides emphasized the need to improve the state of the health sector through training and qualifying human resources, in addition to providing technical support by sending modern and advanced equipment from Germany.
