Various cultural events within the 1st Basalt Arts Festival in Sweida

The 1st Basalt Arts Festival, organized by the Basalt Foundation for Film and Television Production, was launched at the Arab Cultural Center in Sweida and will continue until the 27th of this month.

The opening of the festival was preceded by a march held under hhe slogan “A Message of Love and Peace from Sweida to the Whole World,” with the participation of scouts from the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George in the city.

The festival included a group of cultural and artistic events, such as theatrical and cinematic performances, plastic art exhibitions , music, choral singing, a book fair, artistic training and entertainment workshops, cultural dialogue seminars and poetry.

The festival director Qusay Al-Aysami spoke about the importance of highlighting the cultural aspect in social development, especially after the victory and liberation process that our country is witnessing.
