Minister of Electricity and an Italian delegation inspect Deir Ali power station

Minister of Electricity Omar Shakrouk today inspected the “Deir Ali” power station in Damascus countryside during a tour in which he was accompanied by an Italian delegation led by Ambassador Stefano Ravanian, and representatives of the Italian “Ansaldo” energy company.

Shakrouk stressed the importance of the role of Italian companies in providing spare parts and maintenance to the stations.

The delegation expressed its readiness to cooperate to develop the electricity sector in Syria.
