Qatari and Saudi aid planes arrive at Damascus International Airport

A Qatari aid plane arrived today at Damascus International Airport carrying food supplies provided by Qatari Development Fund.

A Saudi aid plane, carrying 30 tons of relief and food materials to the Syria people, also arrived today at Damascus Airport.

 

Qatari Embassy in Damascus: Aid planes confirm Qatar’s support for the Syrian people

Qatari Embassy in Damascus said that the Qatari aid plane arrived in Syria as part of the Qatari airlift to help brothers in the Syrian Arab Republic and contribute to addressing their humanitarian conditions.

This is the 8th Qatari plane to land at Damascus International Airport and the 13th within the Qatari airlift, according to the embassy

These aid planes confirm Qatar’s significant interest and full support for the Syrian people, the embassy explained

It clarified that the plane belongs to the Qatari Armed Forces and it carries 19 tons of humanitarian aid, including food supplies provided by the Qatar Development Fund.
