Syrian Arab Army Wards Off Attack on Aleppo Central Prison, Strikes Terrorist Groupings Outside Homs and Idleb

PROVINCES,(ST)_ Large numbers of terrorists were killed and injured in military operations in several areas outside Aleppo, Homs, Idleb and Daraa provinces, military sources said on Wednesday.

The sources were quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying that the operations targeted terrorist groupings in al-Ramoseh, al-Layramon, the industrial city, Kafr Hamra, Hritan, Andan, Dar etEzzeh, Khan al-Asal, Handarat and al-Jandol in northern Aleppo province and in al-Dar al-Kabira, Hosh Hajjo and Edon in Talbeseh outside Homs province.

Other terrorist groupings were targeted in Saraqeb, Ma’arret al-No’aman, Abu Duhur, Tal Salmo, al-Jeb al-Ahmar, the western mountain, Jedraya, al-Rami and Mar’eyan in Idleb countryside as well as in Daraa al-Balad in southern Daraa province.

Moreover, the army units warded off armed terrorist groups’ attack on Aleppo central prison where many terrorists were mowed down.

Another attack by a terrorist group on Abo al-Alalaya town in Homs countryside was foiled by an army unit.

On the other hand, a source at Aleppo province told the agency that 15 civilinas, held by armed terrorist groups in Bestan al-Qasr, were released.
