At Least 16 Civilians Wounded in Damascus by Mortar Attacks

DAMASCUS,(ST)_At least 16 civilians have been wounded by mortar attacks on several urban areas in Damascus, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency said today that a shell- fired by terrorists- landed on a house in the old Mazzeh near “al-Zahra’a” Mosque where four members of a family, including eight-year old child, were wounded.

Twelve more civilians were wounded when several shells-fired by terrorists- hit al-Zablatani, al-Qassa’a and al-Abbaseyen quarters.
