Erdogan: Turkey will support all efforts to ensure Syria’s political unity and territorial integrity

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that his country will support all efforts aimed at ensuring Syria’s political unity, territorial integrity, social peace and reconstruction.
In a speech he delivered during his participation in the eighth regular conference of the Justice and Development Party in Mersin province in southern Turkey, Erdogan referred to the positive effects of the fall of the criminal regime in Syria and the formation of a new government that embraces everyone in the country.
The Turkish president said: “Part of the Syrian brothers will undoubtedly return to their homeland, to rise again with their homeland and their work. With the recovery of Syria and the eradication of the acts of injustice and destruction in it, the return of displaced Syrians from Turkey and around the world to their lands will increase.”
“But as we always say, our doors and hearts will always be open to those who remain in Turkey. We do not forcibly displace anyone like tyrants, and we will not allow some racist fanatics to undermine Turkish-Syrian solidarity,” he added, explaining that his country will support all efforts aimed at ensuring Syria’s political unity, territorial integrity, social peace and reconstruction.
