A delegation from the Syrian Ministry of Education, accompanied by several representatives of international organizations, visited some schools in the city of Hama and its northern countryside to assess the condition of the destroyed and non-functional schools and to identify their needs.
The visit included Hisham Bseila and Shafik Abisi schools in the city center, which were subjected to attacks by the former regime just one day before liberation, in addition to other schools in towns and cities such as Souran, Morek, Kfar Zita, Latamina, Tal Malh, Jalama, and Kfar Nabudah.
Youssef Anan, the Director of Planning and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Education, stated that the aim of the tour is to examine the condition of the destroyed schools in order to assess their structural status and infrastructure, and to identify the needs for their rehabilitation and for the return of students.
