Jordan sends humanitarian aid convoy to Syria

A Jordanian aid convoy, provided by the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, today arrived in Syria with the aim of supporting the Syrian people and alleviatjng their suffering, the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus announced today.

According to the embassy, the convoy is loaded with about 300 tons of relief, food and health supplies, and it is one of the several aid convoys that Jordan will send to different Syrian regions.

The convoy was received by the Chargé d’Affairs of the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus Basil Al-Kayed and was handed over to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent at the Jaber border center.
