Mrs. Asma al-Assad: women sacrifices, one of the reasons for Syria’s steadfastness

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Mrs. Asma al-Assad received yesterday families of women  Martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army and the National Defence who sacrificed themselves defending the homeland’s pride and dignity.

Mrs. Asma al-Assad stressed to the families of women martyrs that sacrifices provided by the Syrian women during the crisis confirm Syrian woman commitment to her family and her country has no boundaries and that their participation with men in defense of the country was one of the most important reasons behind Syria’s steadfastness.

Mrs. Asma al-Assad considered that the Syrian women who raise their children to love the country and to provide the valuable and precious for it, will spare no efforts to offer their lives to keep Syria unchallenged and dear

For their part, families of the women martyrs expressed pride over the martyrdom of their daughters, as records for history to that the Syrian woman has not only performed her duties in building the society, but also endowed to stand hand in hand with her son, brother and husband to defend Syria.
