Fayyadh: Syria’s security cannot be separated from Iraq’s

Head of the Popular Mobilization Authority in Iraq, Faleh al-Fayyadh, stressed that Syria represents Iraq’s vital security area that cannot be separated from Iraq.

“Iraq cannot turn a blind eye when terrorist groups supported by foreign agendas and Western interventions control Syria, and promote Daesh (ISIS) gangs”, al-Fyyadh said during a speech at the security forum for the elders of Nineveh tribes on Friday, asserting that Iraq wants the safety of the Syrian people from terrorist attacks.

He added: The criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, the head of the Israeli occupation government, sought to expand the conflict in the region in order to relieve pressure on the Zionist entity with its ongoing aggression against Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
