People’s Assembly calls on Arab and international parliamentary organizations to condemn the terrorist attack on safe areas in Aleppo

The People’s Assembly stressed that the recent terrorist attack on the city of Aleppo and its countryside and a number of areas , supported by well-known foreign countries and forces, is evidence of the deep-seated hatred towards the steadfast Syrian people.
In a statement the Assembly condemned on Sunday the terrorists’ threats to safe civilians and their terrorizing and intimidation, calling on all Arab, regional and international parliamentary unions and organizations  to condemn this sinful terrorist attack on Syrian people and land.
The statement pointed to the attack carried out by the terrorist groups of the “Al-Nusra Front” on the city of Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Idlib and Hama using modern heavy and medium weapons, in addition to drones, which led to the terrorization of safe civilians and the disruption of all aspects of life in these areas and led to a large wave of displacement.
The people’s Assembly stressed its absolute faith and certainty in the ability of the heroes of Syrian valiant armed forces, led by the leader of the nation, President Bashar al-Assad, to defend the stability and unity of the Syrian territories in the face of all terrorists and their supporters, no matter how intense their treacherous terrorist attacks and how they falsify and distort the facts through their misleading media to undermine the steadfastness of proud Syrian people.
