Under the directions of President, General Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, General Abdul Karim Mahmoud Ibrahim, Chief of the General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces, conducted a field tour to the northern Hama countryside, during which he met units of our armed forces advancing in that direction.

General Ibrahim toured a number of frontline positions that the Syrian Arab Army had retaken, and was briefed by field commanders on the progress of combat operations against armed terrorist organizations, and the actions being taken to expel terrorists from the areas they had entered.

General Ibrahim stressed that the Syrian Arab Army will remain the guarantee of the sons of the homeland, defending the land, honor, sovereignty and dignity, behind the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.

For their part, the fighters confirmed that they are at the highest levels of readiness and morale, ready to continue their national and constitutional missions until the terrorists are expelled from every inch of our beloved land.
