The Palestinian Presidency expressed the full solidarity of the State of Palestine and its people with the brotherly Syrian people, stressing the need to respect the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Presidency stressed in a statement on Sunday the preservation of Syria’s security and stability and respect for its independence and sovereignty over its territories.
The statement said that President Mahmoud Abbas affirms the official position of the State of Palestine in supporting the unity and independence of Arab countries, and preserving their sovereignty and the security of their citizens, in a way that supports the unified Arab position supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause.
