Gargash: UAE President’s call with President Assad reflects Emirati approach based on priority of Arab dimension

Damascus(ST)-The Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Anwar Gargash, stressed that the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with President Bashar al-Assad reflects an Emirati approach based on the priority of the Arab dimension in Arab issues.

On the X platform, Gargash wrote: “The call of His Highness the President of the State with the Syrian President reflects an Emirati approach based on the priority of the Arab dimension in Arab issues and preserving the national state as a fundamental pillar to get out of chaos and reject extremism and radicalism in all its forms.”

He added: “The political path and the prevalence of wisdom remain the only way to address crises.”

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed stressed during the call with President al-Assad that his country stands with the Syrian state and supports it in fighting terrorism and extending its sovereignty, territorial integrity and stability.
