Peaceful coordination enhances positive talks on Homs old city

HOMS,(ST)_Homs Governor has underscored that the ongoing negotiation to make the old city of Homs free of  gunmen and arms comes within the government’s efforts to restore stability and security nationwide, according to the official news agency.

The agency quoted Talal al-Barazi as saying that the negotiations have been started since more than two months ago. “We are seeking through the current talks being held through mediators to make all quarters in the old city of Homs free of arms and gunmen.”

The governor described the talks as positive because there is a space to peaceful coordination.
