Palestinian National Council calls on international community to put an end to Israeli war of extermination

The Palestinian National Council called on the international community to shoulder its legal and moral responsibilities towards the suffering of the Palestinian people and to put an end to the war of extermination, ethnic cleansing and Israeli crimes that international law has classified as war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Wafa Agency quoted the council as saying in a statement today on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People: What the Palestinians are suffering in the light of the international silence from the siege, starvation and daily death in Gaza Strip, incursions in the West Bank and unprecedented violations in the city of Jerusalem is blatant evidence of double standards and the absence of international justice, stressing the need to take immediate practical steps, including imposing sanctions on the occupation, supporting international accountability efforts and implementing the decisions of international courts.

The council called for supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is the right to self-determination and ending the Israeli occupation.
