Czech organizations call for protests against visit of Israeli foreign minister

Several Czech organizations called for protests against the visit of Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar to Prague today, the first will take place in front of the Foreign Ministry headquarters, and the second in front of the Senate.
The “Not in Our Name” Organization expressed its rejection of the Israeli official organizing a meeting in Prague with Israeli officials in Europe, with the aim of arranging procedures against the International Criminal Court for issuing two arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Minister of War Yoav Galant, with the approval of Czech politicians.
The Organization called for not allowing “the Czech Republic to become a tool for destroying international law in favor of the continuation of Israeli war crimes.”
These Organization and other organizations, staged a protest last night in front of the government headquarters and in front of the US embassy in Prague, to draw attention to the shared responsibility of Czech government politicians for what is happening in the Gaza Strip, through their blind support for  Israeliin the war crimes it commits and their silence about the suppression of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
