UNRWA warns: Hunger has reached critical levels in Gaza Strip and a ceasefire must be reached

The United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestinians Refugee (UNRWA”) warned of the repercussions of hunger in Gaza Strip that has reached critical levels. It called for an immediate ceasefire.

The Wafa Agency quoted UNRWA as saying today in a post on X platform :” Hunger in Gaza has reached critical levels, with people searching leftover food in weeks-old garbage.”

Wafa added” with the onset of winter, conditions are rapidly deteriorating and survival is becoming impossible without urgent humanitarian aid. A ceasefire must be reached now.”

The United Nations confirms that the Israeli occupation refuses and obstructs the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Strip, especially to those besieged in the north.
