Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati has called on the Israeli enemy to fully abide by the ceasefire decision that was reached and to withdraw from all the Lebanese areas and sites that it occupies and to fully abide by international resolution 1701.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, Mikati, during a phone call he received from US President Joe Biden tonight, called on the countries of the world and the relevant international institutions to assume their responsibilities in this regard.
He said that the understanding drew a roadmap for a ceasefire, and it constitutes an essential step towards establishing calm and stability in Lebanon and towards the return of the displaced to their homes and cities.
Earlier, in a televised statement, the US President Joe Biden announced that a ceasefire deal in Lebanon was reached and it will take effect today at 4 a.m. local time.
For his part, the Israeli enemy media reported that the head of the occupation government, “Benjamin Netanyahu,” accepted the cessation of aggression against Lebanon.
