Iran’s Armed Forces Fully Ready To Foil Enemiesˈ Threats – Salami

Lieutenant Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami lauded the preparedness of the Iranian Armed Forces to foil the enemiesˈ possible threats, and said no foreign state dares to attack the country, according to IRNA.

ˈWe are more powerful than any other time in Iran’s history and we will pave this way powerfully and firmly,ˈ Brigadier General Salami said, addressing a ceremony in Tehran.

Yet, Iranian officials have always stressed that the countrys military and arms programs serve defensive purposes and should not be perceived as a threat to any other country.

Powerful Iran Could Help Establish Peace in Region, Says Italian lawmaker

Meanwhile,  in Rom a member of Italian Parliament Erasmo Palazzotto said here on Friday that a powerful Iran could help establish peace and tranquility in the region.

Talking to IRNA, Palazzotto underlined that a powerful Iran can politically speak with the world and could be considered as a great opportunity for all.

Historically, the Islamic Republic of Iran is considered as an axis in terms of the economic power in the region, he added.
