Investment Agency, Ministry of Communications propose an investment opportunity to establish the first specialized technology zone in Al-Dimas

Damascus, (ST)- The Syrian Investment Agency, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, today announced proposing an investment opportunity to establish the first specialized technological zone in Al-Dimas area, opposite to Sahara Tourist Complex in Damascus countryside.

According to a statement by the Agency and the Ministry, the establishment of this zone aims to attract and localize information technologies and technological manufacturing by gathering industrial, commercial and service activities operating in the communications and information technology sector with providers of logistical and integrated services in one place according to an integrated work environment that includes advantages and services that help and facilitate their work and develop their products inside Syria at the lowest costs.

The project to establish this zone also seeks to attract international companies operating in this field, localize local and international expertise, exchange expertise, provide local, regional and international investment opportunities and attract universities and training centers operating in this field to participate in the development and advancement of technical industries.
