Peskov calls on Israel to stop bombing civilian targets in Lebanon
Moscow (ST) – Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov called on Israel to stop bombing civilian targets in Lebanon and prevent civilian casualties.
Peskov stated today: “We want to stop strikes on civilian targets, and it is very important that civilians do not become victims of strikes.”
Peskov stressed that the Gaza Strip is facing a terrible humanitarian crisis, and that Lebanon is also in an emergency situation.
The Israeli occupation entity continues its attacks on residential neighborhoods in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Baalbek and Tyre, as well as towns and villages in the south and the Bekaa.
