Moscow: Solidarity event for Arab peoples in the face of Zionist attacks and crimes

Moscow(ST)-The  Arab communities in the Russian Federation and their Russian friends condemned the brutal acts of aggression and attacks committed by the Israeli entity in Lebanon, Palestine and Syria.

In a solidarity event held by the Lebanese House in Moscow on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Lebanon’s independence, the participants in the event affirmed their solidarity with the resistance fighters who are writing the highest verses of sacrifice and heroism in confronting the brutal Israeli aggression that violates all international norms by systematically destroying cities, residential neighborhoods, hospitals, schools and places of worship, and disregards all international laws.

The Lebanese Ambassador and Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Russia, Shawki Bou Nassar, called for the necessity of adhering to the resolutions of international legitimacy that would achieve peace and stability in the Middle East and the world in general, by stopping the criminal Israeli aggression, achieving the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, and the withdrawal of the Israeli enemy from all occupied territories in Lebanon and Syria.

The speakers expressed their thanks to the Russian Federation, its leadership and people, for its support and backing of the peoples of the Arab countries and its condemnation of the Israeli aggression against them.

The event was attended by the Syrian Ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Bashar Al-Jaafari, a number of ambassadors of Arab countries, social, religious and cultural figures, and Arab and Russian media professionals.

Russian Ambassador and Arabist Alexander Zasypkin stressed that Russia supports Syria in combating terrorism and confronting attacks on its territory, and expresses its solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and exerts all efforts to stop the Israeli attacks on them.

Russian media figure and social activist Maxim Shevchenko praised the victory achieved by the Syrian leadership over the forces of evil, and the steadfastness of the Syrian people and their resistance to all attacks, noting the steadfastness and courage of the resistance forces in the region.

At the end of the event, a film was shown documenting the killing and destruction committed by the criminal Israeli enemy against the peoples of the region.
