“The challenges that Donetsk People’s Republic are facing as part of the Russian Federation are almost the same that Syria is facing, and that affirms the need for strengthening various relations between our two countries to confront the hostile sides,” Pushilin said in a statement to SANA correspondent in Moscow on the sidelines of the Transport and Communications Forum held in the Russian capital today.

He added that the United States violates international laws, charters and norms and uses double standards as it imposes sanctions on Russian and Syrian people at the same time.

Pushilin went on to say that the Russian people are watching and observing the events that are taking place in a number of Middle Eastern countries which come under hostile acts by the West and its agents, expressing his condemnation of the American occupation of Syrian lands and its plundering of the resources of Syrian people.
