The mayor of Kafarnan in Homs countryside martyred in explosive device attack

Homs,(ST)-The mayor of Kafarnan Mohammad al-Ismail was martyred today as a result of an explosive device explosion in a vehicle he was driving in the village of Tasnin in the northern countryside of Homs.

A medical source at al-Basel Hospital in al-Zahraa neighborhood in Homs city told SANA correspondent that the hospital received this morning the body of a person who died as a result of being directly injured by shrapnel from an explosive device blast in the village of Tasnin in the northern countryside of Homs. It was later found out that the body belonged to the mayor of Kafarnan.
