President Assad, Ms. Asma received families with only-sons Martyrs

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ In commemoration of their sacrifices, President Bashar al- Assad and Mrs. Asma al-Assad yesterday received, families of the only sons martyrs who sacrificed themselves in defense of the homeland, though they are exempted under the Syrian law from performing any military duties.

President al-Assad stressed that the sufferings of the Syrian people during this war, revealed most prominent cases of Syrian citizen nationalism, that can not be seen elsewhere, adding that the families that encouraged and allowed its son only to join the armed forces to defend Syria ‘s history, and future of her children, though know the possibility of losing him, reflect utmost national commitment.

The President added that the willingness of the citizens to offer the dearest they have in order to defend Syria was one of the main reasons for the country’s steadfastness in the face of the most powerful forces which used in this war dirtiest tools, ranging from money to terrorism to achieve their objectives in Syria, stressing that continuing this dedicated approach will ensure that the Syrian people not only survive  but victorious.

President al-Assad stressed that without the sacrifices of the martyrs and their families, that are appreciated by all the Syrian people, Syria will not survive.

For her part, Mrs. Asma appreciated the sacrifices of the family of the martyr, as of no less significance of the martyr’s, stressing the need to stand by these families by all possible means.

For their part, families of the martyrs stressed that the one ho has no homeland, has no dignity and nor value, adding that for that their children volunteered in the ranks of the army to contribute to defend their land, persisting on the protection of the country from aggressors, no matter how great the sacrifices.
