Damascus (ST) – President Bashar Al-Assad received Iran’s Minister of Defense Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, and his accompanying delegation.

President al-Assad and Nasirzadeh discussed issues related to defense and security in the region, and enhancing cooperation between the two countries to confront terrorism and dismantle its structure in a way that serves the stability and security of the region.

President al-Assad stressed that eliminating terrorism is a regional and international responsibility because its dangers threaten all peoples of the world.
