Foreign Ministry: Syria condemns the crimes committed by the Zionist entity

Syria condemns the brutal crimes committed by the Zionist entity, which left dozens of martyrs and wounded tens of civilians, including women and children, and caused the complete destruction of the targeted residential buildings, and major material damage to vital facilities such as bridges and some international roads,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Thursday.

The Ministry added that the Israeli entity’s multiple attacks on Syria today come only two days after the joint Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh issued a broad condemnation of this entity’s brutal and escalating aggression on Syrian territory, and after the summit’s warning of the danger of this escalation that is ravaging the region and of its regional and international repercussions.

“Syria affirms that the usurping entity’s continued disregard for international laws and regulations, and its indifference to all international demands to stop its aggression and violations, comes as a result of the Security Council’s failure to take a firm and real stance to deter it from its crimes, which also included attacks on international peacekeeping forces in Lebanon that hinder the work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees,” the statement said.
