Nebenzia: United States and Israel are responsible for the massacres committed in Gaza

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, affirmed that the United States and “Israel” are directly responsible for the killing of more than 43 thousand Palestinians since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.
“In more than a year since the events of October the 7th , Washington, which serves “Israel” in everything, shares with the Israeli government the guilt for the killing of more than 43 thousand Palestinians through American weapons that are regularly supplied to it, in addition to those who died of hunger and infectious diseases,” Nebenzia said during a meeting of the UN Security Council
The Russian diplomat pointed out that “if Israel was really ready to reach an agreement on a ceasefire and the release of prisoners, it would have agreed to it long ago and would not have proposed new conditions.”
“Our American colleagues deliberately deceived us all and bought time for Israel to implement its plans to exterminate the largest possible number of Palestinians in Gaza and turn this area into an absolutely uninhabitable area,” he added.
Nebenzia announced that the ten non-permanent members of the Security Council have prepared a draft resolution on “an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza,” stressing that Russia expresses its full support for this project.
He pointed out that the draft resolution to be submitted by “Japan, Ecuador, Switzerland, Mozambique, Malta, Slovenia, Algeria, Sierra Leone, South Korea and Guyana” must be put to a vote without any procrastination,
The Russian diplomat noted that “the adoption of this draft resolution will be a step towards ending the massacre and bringing the conflict out of the current impasse and paving the way for relaunching the peace process on the basis of the known international references, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, and there is no other way to achieve a just and lasting peace in the Middle East.”
With American support, the Israeli occupation entity has been continuing a bloody war on Gaza Strip since October  the 7th of last year, leaving more than 146,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing amidst massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and elderly people, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world, while the stifling siege on the Strip continues.
