Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Protecting Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip is the last test of what remains of the credibility of humanity and the international community

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that  protecting the Palestinian people in the northern Gaza Strip, which the Israeli occupation insists on destroying and emptying of its population, is the last test of what remains of the credibility of humanity and the international community.
In a statement today, reported by the Wafa Agency, the Ministry condemned the occupation’s systematic killing of Palestinians, especially in the Gaza Strip and its north in particular.
The statement noted that the occupation is dividing the Strip into cantons to facilitate control, occupation and settlement in it, and is committing complex war crimes by depriving civilians of their most basic human rights, including water, food, treatment, electricity and others, including children, women, the elderly and the sick.
The Foreign Ministry pointed out  that the Palestinian people are still victims of the occupation, suspicious international double standards, and international moral failure to respect the international will calling for a unanimous halt to the war of extermination, and the lack of respect for international resolutions and orders issued by the International Court of Justice.
It warned  against the consequences of expanding the circle of comprehensive extermination from the north of the Strip to Gaza City and then to its center and south, leading to the displacement of Palestinians outside their homeland.
The Foreign Ministry indicated that it will continue to expose the crimes of the occupation and exert more efforts to translate this international consensus into effective practical steps.
It called for the rapid implementation of the UN General Assembly resolution issued last September, which adopted the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice on ending the occupation within 12 months as the only way to achieve stability and prosperity for the countries and peoples of the region.
