Chargé d’Affaires of the Sudanese Embassy in Damascus: The Sudanese government is open to the proposed solutions and peace initiatives
The Acting Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Damascus, Ahmed Ibrahim, gave a press briefing at the embassy headquarters on the developments in Sudan, in which he stressed the keenness of his country’s government and its openness to solutions that move forward to end the critical situation.
The Chargé d’Affaires explained that since April 15 of last year, Sudan has been experiencing difficult conditions as the Rapid Support Forces attempted to seize power, hijack the state by force, and attack various military units.
Ibrahim stressed the Sudanese government’s keenness and openness to solutions that move forward to end the crisis and deal positively with all proposed peace initiatives.
The Chargé d’Affaires showed appreciation for the role of the Syrian government and people in developing, strengthening and supporting the relationship with Sudan, which has witnessed remarkable development and prosperity during the past period despite the circumstances that Syria has experienced and is experiencing today.
