Two people martyred as a result of the Israeli enemy’s shelling of Tyre in south Lebanon

Beirut(ST)-Two people were martyred and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrikes this morning on a house in the town of Joya in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli enemy continued its brutal attacks on the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil throughout last night and until this morning, and bombed the towns of Maarakeh, Maroun, Yaroun, Al-Humairi, Maaroub, Tyre, the industrial city neighborhood, Al-Shabriha, Shaqra, Haris, and Al-Halusiyeh, and the surroundings of the towns of Al-Bazouriyeh and Al-Burj Al-Shamali, in conjunction with the continuous flight of its spy planes, drones, and warplanes intensively throughout last night.

At dawn, the Israeli enemy opened fire with its heavy machine guns towards the towns of Aita al-Shaab, Ramyeh, Tyre Harfa, and Al-Qawzah, in conjunction with artillery shelling on Jabal Al-Labouneh on the outskirts of the town of Naqoura.

The agency indicated that the fate of two families consisting of 20 people, including women and children, is still unknown after the Israeli enemy targeted their home in Wata al-Khiam about a week ago, as the International Red Cross and Lebanese Red Cross teams began arriving at the site of the destruction to begin rescue operations.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced yesterday evening that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon had risen to 2,968 martyrs and 13,319 wounded after 71 people were killed and 169 wounded as a result of the Israeli enemy’s massacres in Lebanon in just one day.
