The Bangladeshi Foreign Ministry announced that one of its citizens was a victim of Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, noting that the Israeli bombing is hindering efforts to return Bangladeshis to their country.
Agence France-Presse quoted the Bangladeshi ambassador to Lebanon, Javed Tanweer Khan, as saying in a statement: “One of our citizens was killed on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike when he stopped at a cafe on his way to work in Beirut,” noting that this worker has been living in Lebanon for more than a decade.
The Foreign Ministry in Dhaka estimates that between 70 and 100 thousand of its citizens work in Lebanon, and the brutal Israeli killing machine continues its random attacks on all places in Lebanon, and does not exclude people or stones in its barbarity. The Lebanese Ministry of Health indicated in its latest statistics on Saturday evening that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 2968 martyrs and 13319 wounded, after 71 people were martyred and 169 wounded as a result of the massacres of the Israeli enemy in Lebanon in just one day.
