Zionist occupation detained 20 Palestinians from the West Bank over the past 24 hours

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Nov.2, (ST)- Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 20 Palestinians from the West Bank during the last 24 hours, according to a joint statement by the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society.

The detentions occurred across various provinces, Hebron, Ramallah, Nablus, Qalqilya, Jericho, and Bethlehem. According to the statement, these detentions have been characterized by widespread raids and violent treatment of detainees, including severe beatings and threats against both the arrested individuals and their families, along with destruction of property in their homes.

Since the onset of the ongoing Israeli genocidal onslaught against the Palestinian people in October 2023, the total number of Palestinians detained by Israeli troops in the West Bank has surpassed 11,500, including those from Jerusalem, the statement added.

Additionally, reports indicate that the Israeli military continues to detain civilians from Gaza, particularly in the northern regions, including women, children, and medical personnel.

Human rights organizations have noted that since the start of the offensive, they have been unable to accurately track the number of detentions in Gaza, which are estimated to be in the thousands.
