Al-Mardini discusses with ALECSO’s director and Russian delegation educational cooperation

BRASILIA, Nov.2, (ST)-The Minister of Education and Chairman of the Syrian National Commission for UNESCO, Mohammad Amer Al-Mardini, discussed yesterday- during his participation in the World Education Meeting held in Fortaleza, Brazil- with the Director of the Education Department at the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), Rami Iskandar, the cooperation between Syria and the organization.

Al-Mardini asserted the importance of involving Syrian national expertise and benefiting from it in drawing up the organization’s strategies, and the necessity of accelerating the implementation of programmed activities in the fields of education, culture and science in Syria, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The agency also indicated that Al-Mardini discussed with the head of the Russian delegation who is participating in the conference, Anna Kuryanova, the ways of developing  Syrian-Russian educational relations. B.Q.
