Minister of Social Affairs discusses cooperation with Italian Intersos Organization

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Eng. Samar Al-Sebai discussed with the President of the Italian Intersos Organization Marian Kallasa and the accompanying delegation the mechanism of work progress in implementing joint cooperation projects, especially vocational training, social protection and psychological support.

The two sides discussed the Syrian government efforts in cooperation with partners to provide all necessary facilities for arrivals from Lebanon due to the brutal Israeli aggression and to secure their needs.

Minister Al-Sebai indicated that the current stage requires work based on studying the need on the ground and determining priorities.
Minister Al-Sebai pointed to the importance of evaluating the implemented projects and measuring their impact and reflection on the beneficiaries.
For her part, the President of the organization expressed her desire to expand the partnership with the ministry in many areas of common interest, noting the organization’s readiness to provide the necessary services to the arrivals according to the necessary needs.
