24 people martyred, dozens injured in Israeli raids on the towns of Harat Saida and Sarafand in Lebanon
Beirut, (ST) – 24 people were martyred and dozens were injured in raids launched by the Israeli enemy warplanes on the towns of Harat Saida and Sarafand in southern Lebanon, at a time when this enemy continues its crimes and destruction of homes and infrastructure and displacement of residents.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the Israeli raid that targeted two residential buildings in Harat Saida last night led to the martyrdom of 10 people and the injury of 36 others, according to the latest toll of rescue and search operations.
Rescue and rubble removal operations continued today in the town of Sarafand, where the Israeli warplanes targeted a building in the town, committing a massacre that has so far claimed 14 lives, as the targeted building consists of 3 floors that were completely destroyed and caused severe damage to the surrounding houses.
The raids targeting the town of Khiyam caused fire to break out at a time when the town is facing attempts by enemy forces to penetrate it, under heavy fire cover from warplanes, drones, heavy artillery and machine guns.
Two Israeli drones also targeted a car on the Ariya road, which led to the outbreak of fire in it, and another car at the Aley-Qamatiyeh intersection.
This afternoon, Israeli warplanes launched 3 airstrikes targeting the Al-Rahebat neighborhood in the city of Nabatieh, and the towns of Majdal Zoun, Tyre Harfa and Al-Jbeen, while drones and reconnaissance planes flew in the skies of Tyre and its surroundings at low altitudes.
The city of Baalbek and the neighboring towns of Douris and Ain Bourday are witnessing a heavy displacement movement towards the Baalbek-Zahle and Baalbek-Deir al-Ahmar-Ainata-Al-Arz roads all the way to the north.
