Local Administration minister receives Lebanese minister of the displaced

DAMASCUS, Ict.26, (ST)-Today, Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Louay Kharita discussed with the Lebanese Minister of the Displaced in caretaker government Issam Sharaf Ed-Din hosting Lebanese who come to Syria as a result of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, and the return of displaced Syrians from Lebanon.

Kharita who is the Chairman of the Higher Relief Committee highlighted the measures taken by the Syrian government to the emergency response of those who come from Lebanon, meet their humanitarian needs, and prepare shelters to host them.

He stressed the continuation of coordination of efforts with national partners and United Nations organizations to secure an organized response to those who come from Lebanon.

For his part, Sharaf Ed-Din pointed out the efforts made by the Syrian government, which has worked to receive and host 160,000 Lebanese refugees in shelters and meet their basic needs inparallel with the return of 300,000 displaced Syrians from Lebanon.
