Oman condemns the Zionist air aggression against Iran

MUSCAT, Oct.26, (ST)-The Sultanate of Oman strongly condemned the Israeli air aggression against Iran this morning, and considered it a blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty and a clear violation of the rules of international law.

In  statement released on Saturday, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Oman’s condemnation of these ongoing Israeli attacks, which threaten to drag the region towards further unrest and instability and constitute an escalation that fuels  violence and undermines efforts aimed at calming down, reducing tension, and containing crises through peaceful and diplomatic means.

The statement underlined the need to address the roots and causes of crises in the region by ending the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestinian and Arab lands, as stipulated in the UNSC resolutions granting the Palestinian people their right to self-determination and establishing their independent state.

It renewed the Sultanate of Oman’s call on the international community to take effective action to stop the aggression and put an end to these blatant violations on the territories of regional neighboring countries.
