Syrian Arab Army Pounds Hideouts for Terrorist Ringleaders in Homs and Idleb

PROVINCES,(ST)_The army units have thwarted terrorists’ infiltration bids into safe areas in Daraa and Aleppo provinces and pounded two hideouts for armed terrorist groups’ leaders outside Homs and Idleb provinces, the official news agency (SANA) reported on Wednesday.

The agency quoted military sources as citing that the army units foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempts into towns of Ghabagheb and Kherbet Ghazaleh in southern Daraa province and inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in Daraa al-Balad.

The sources added that other infiltration bids by armed terrorist groups towards al-Kheder Mosque and Salaheddin quarter in northern Aleppo province were also thwarted.

Many terrorists were mowed down in the confrontations and in the unrelenting military operations targeting terrorist groupings in more than 30 restive areas in the said two provinces [Aleppo and Daraa].

Several ringleaders killed

Moreover, the army units destroyed a hideout for armed terrorist groups’ leaders, an arms depot and several cars equipped with heavy machineguns in al-Wadehi town and shelled terrorist groupings in many towns outside Homs.

The city of Homs also witnessed military operations against terrorist groups in Bab Hod, al-Hamedeyeh, Bab Dreb and al-Qosor quarters.

The operations resulted in killing and injuring many terrorists, according to the official agency which pointed out that more terrorists, some of non-Syrian nationalities, were crushed in quarters of al-Reshdeyeh and al-Hamedeyeh in Der Ezzour province.

While in Idleb province, precisely on the outskirts of Mer’ayan town, the army units wiped out a hideout for armed terrorist ringleaders and killed all terrorists inside.
