The Lebanese Resistance and Lebanese Press Editors Union Condemn Israel’s Deliberate Targeting of Journalists and Media Workers in Lebanon

Hezbollah’s Media Relations strongly condemned the deliberate Zionist targeting of the journalists ‘ residence in Hasbaya in southern Lebanon, killing and wounding a number of journalists.

Media Relations said in a statement: “the new crime adds to the horrific and terrorist record of the Israeli entity in targeting journalists and media outlets in Gaza and Lebanon, and we call on media bodies, associations and trade unions  to condemn this crime and criminalize the enemy in international forums.”

In turn, the Lebanese Press Editors Union also condemned this horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces .

“This is not the first time that Israel has targeted journalists and media workers in Lebanon, and six of them have already been killed in its brutal raids in addition to the wounded,” the union said in a statement quoted by the National Media Agency.

“What the entity’s forces have done is a war crime of all specifications and standards “. The international community, especially the organizations concerned with the protection of journalists and media workers while carrying out their missions in war and conflict zones, cannot remain silent in front of this flagrant and repeated violation of international treaties and charters that determine how to deal with journalists, media workers, broadcasting teams, and relief crews working in the field,” the state added.
