Emirati plane carrying humanitarian aid to displaced families coming from Lebanon arrives at Damascus International Airport
An Emirati plane carrying 10 tons of aid for those arriving from Lebanon arrived at Damascus International Airport on Thursday. The aid include humanitarian and medical supplies.
In a statement to reporters, Representative of the Emirates Red Crescent, Mohammed Salem Al Junaibi, affirmed that in continuation of the Emirati humanitarian efforts and to help the Lebanese brothers who have arrived in Syria and the Syrians who have returned to their homeland, a plane carrying 10 tons of medicines, medical supplies, health and personal items arrived at Damascus Airport today.
Al Junaibi pointed out that in addition to the aid that arrived, humanitarian supplies were purchased from the local market, including various food supplies and health packages, in addition to providing some necessary supplies to receive the winter, noting that after the evaluation, a plan was developed in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent to deliver the aid to those who deserve it as soon as possible.
Last Thursday, an Emirati plane arrived at Damascus International Airport carrying 35 tons of aid for those arriving from Lebanon, including relief, food and medical supplies and equipment, and an ambulance.
