Head of Attaman town council in Daraa martyred in a terrorist attack
The head of the council of the town of Attman in the countryside of Daraa Khaled Al-Rifai was martyred in a terrorist attack while he was heading to work in the town.
A source in Daraa Police Command told a SANA reporter that two terrorists riding a motorcycle blocked the road before Al-Rifai’s car near Bilal Mosque in the center of the town of Attaman and opened fire on him directly, which led to his immediate martyrdom.
A source in Daraa National Hospital said that Al-Rifai arrived dead at the hospital after being shot several times.
It is to be noted that Al-Rifai was subjected to an assassination attempt three years ago when an explosive device was detonated near his office.
