40 companies participate in the 6th International Agriculture and Poultry and their Supplies Exhibition

With the participation of more than 40 local, Arab and foreign companies, the activities of the 6th session of the International Agricultural and Poultry and their Supplies Exhibition (AGRI POUL) were launched yesterday evening at the Damascus Fairgrounds and will continue until the 24th of this month.

The exhibition, which is organized by the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture in cooperation with the Syndicates of Veterinarians and Agricultural Engineers and the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, showcases various pharmaceutical industries, vaccines, veterinary services, agricultural equipment, poultry machinery and equipment, modern irrigation equipment, feed, pesticides, fertilizers, animal diseases, and all modern agricultural requirements.

In a statement to reporters, Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Dr. Fayez Al-Miqdad praised the national capital and the national Syrian investors who rehabilitated their facilities and continued their work despite all the circumstances.

Minister Al-Miqdad pointed to the facilities provided by the government to rehabilitate what terrorism has destroyed during the years of war on Syria, such as the inclusion of the rehabilitation in interest rate support programs and the facilities to secure agricultural production requirements.

For his part, the owner of Desert Rose Company, the organizer of the exhibition, Farouk Jaquish, pointed out that the exhibition has proven during its past five sessions that it represents the most important platform in the agricultural and veterinary fields.

Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Agriculture Muhammad Kashto stated that the 6th session of the exhibition confirms the continuity of production despite the difficulties. He explained that the exhibition contributes to transferring all that is modern and qualitative from the needs of the poultry sector and networking between companies and institutions producing veterinary medicines and feed supplements and poultry farmers.
